Why is everyone faking it in the Bigg Boss 2 household?
The Bhojpuri actor Ravi of Bigg Boss1 fame had once commented that the Bigg Boss 2 show is going down because everyone is faking it here. This is a reality show and this requires everyone to be just as they are. “Be your own self” is the motto but no one seems to follow that except a handful. Debo tries to be his own self. Zulfi always has that slow smile hanging on his lips and says things, if he has to say, in a mumbled whisper.
His true self is not known but it seems he is capable of much more intense feelings and emotions than that expressed here. He can be called a fake. Diana is again her own true self, subdued at first but now gradually unfolding. She has various folds to her character and she looks and displays strength of character that should be the cause of envy of the other girls on the show.
Envy! Payal and Sambhavana has that in a large amounts in them and these two are a dagger’s edge at one another. Yet Payal is faking it, the way she moves about in the kitchen with her back so tightened up and hips protruded. Does she ever look at herself in the mirror and at times in spite of her sharp features she looks real ugly when she is bitching! Sambhavana tries to portray her true self in the way she shouts, abuses , bitches and dances on sexy numbers. She is that but then when she is so sugary with Raja, is she being real too? Or is that a fake? To learn more on this we have to keep watching the show on Colors.
Ahsaan seems to be a yes man. It is a common saying that he has no brains… but is that it? Or is he trying to be cleverer by yielding to everyone for the fear of getting nominated and also getting to learn everyones secrets? Same goes for Debo but it seems Debo is genuinely real.
What about Rahul? In spite of being a good person as termed by many, why is he so upset at seeing Sambhavana close to Raja? Does that mean he wants to be knowledgable about everything? Why does he bitch so much about everyone in the house and yet always put up that “oh so good” attitude so that people misinterpret him?
Raja seems to be a silent player of the game but is he also taken aback by Sambhavana’s sudden twist in the story. Sambhavana seems to play the game strategically because she has well understood that people need Masala and if she has the spice to add to the show’s tanginess, she will remain. In other words people will vote for her to remain so that the show becomes all the more interesting. Good Strategy Sam!
Whatever, it’s true that people have been faking their little selves a bit much, but then that’s what makes the show a bit spicier. So keep up guys! You people give us more than entertainment in that one hour that we get to watch your every night on Colors.
